Childcare attendance tracking app
EZSmiles is excited to announce the upcoming release of a game-changing feature for teachers and administrators – Attendance Tracking!

EZSmiles has always been a great tool for keeping parents connected to little ones throughout the day, making sure parents are notified about all the necessities like potties, meals, and naps and sharing glimpses into their daily activities with Smiles picture and video messages. But now, EZSmiles has become even more versatile – this time for the benefit of teachers and administrators!

EZSmiles Attendance Tracking

With EZSmiles’ new Attendance feature, checking children in and out of class is reduced to a simple tap of a tablet or smartphone. It’s that easy!

Teachers can choose from a list of classes, and the scheduled children display on the screen. With a quick tap of the Check In or Check Out button for each child, the time is recorded and the display turns green for those children who are present. Teachers can see at a glance exactly who is “here now,” and who is not – without having to run any reports or touch a computer.

You’ll access the Attendance screens quickly and easily through the message wall, the same place you already go to add Daily Log and Smiles messages. The new menu options located at the bottom of the screen make for a one-touch experience that will have your teachers and admin staff raving about the time they save each day.

The best part? Attendance data collected through the EZSmiles app is recorded in real time in the Actual tab in EZCare – so there is no need to enter attendance again on your PC. This means less work for you and your staff when generating attendance each week, especially if you have rates based on information in the Actual tab.

Look for more details on the Attendance feature and other updates to EZSmiles in our 2019.02 release the week of February 25th.
